Aparna Bhaskaran, LPC

Hi! I am so glad you are here.

I am very excited to be a part of this journey of self-discovery with you.

Sometimes Finding the perfect therapist is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I hope to be that needle for you. A common misconception about therapy is that people only need counseling when going through major personal or professional crises. I feel everyone can benefit from therapy to help improve their general sense of well-being.

I offer a safe and compassionate space to work with you.

Together we will navigate the small and big stressors and detours of life. We will access your authentic inner potential and work towards empowering you through a collaborative and integrative approach.

My prior life and how to fits into counseling…

I am a molecular biologist from my life prior to counseling. I appreciate and am fascinated by how therapy can enhance new neural connections or pathways and help the trigger brain growth and plasticity. I would love to share my thoughts on this topic along our journey together if that would help in your healing.

My Clinician Interests

From a clinical standpoint, I am drawn to the Adlerian theory of seeing you in your social context as well as the psychodynamic theory to free the deep-rooted unconscious beliefs and emotions that may be obstacles to your wellness. I am interested in growing with you to develop resiliency and exploring strategies that work best for you as a unique individual.
